UNSUPERVISED* is a collaborative creative group where friends come together to make videos, games, and experimental projects. It's a place to try ideas, have fun, and learn by making things.
Story
UNSUPERVISED* has been years in the making. It all started in 2022 when a group of us sat around a lunch table at school with one goal: become YouTubers. Like a lot of kids, we thought making videos and becoming famous sounded like the greatest job in the world. So we made a channel called Dripoz, divided up everyone's "roles," promised we'd upload twice a week... and then almost immediately forgot about the plan. Looking back, it was a mess. We barely had a way to contact each other outside of school, nobody really knew what they were doing, and everyone had different ideas about what the channel should be. It didn't take long before the uploads stopped completely. That wasn't the last attempt. In early 2023 we created another channel called AFA, short for Abdulmalik, Faisal, and Abdulwahab. The idea was the same, but history repeated itself. We struggled to stay consistent, everyone had different expectations, and the channel slowly faded away. A few months later we decided to start over again, this time with Half As Amazing. At first we mostly made gaming videos and vlogs, but everything felt overcomplicated. Every video had a long intro, every thumbnail looked almost identical, and the titles were just episode numbers. It wasn't something we were proud of. Eventually I realised the problem wasn't that we weren't making enough videos. It was that we weren't making videos we'd actually want to watch. So I redesigned almost everything. New thumbnails. New editing style. Better titles. We moved away from gaming videos and focused on real-life challenges, games, and projects that felt much more like us. By 2026, Half As Amazing no longer fit what we were creating. We wanted a name that represented the chaotic way we made videos, and one that wasn't inspired by another channel. That's how UNSUPERVISED* was born. Today, the goal is much bigger than just uploading YouTube videos. I want UNSUPERVISED* to grow into a creative production company where friends can make ambitious, funny, and genuinely original projects together.
